Hello, i´m very interested to using open skipper. I want to run on windows vista 32, but i have a problem and the program no run.
I´m profesional sailor, I usually use deckman and expedition, but i need a tool to work with nmea data for small projects.
    Could you help me?

What is the problem? OpenSkipper should work fine on Vista 32 bits…

That’s strange. You have used Open Skipper before, haven’t you? Is this a new issue with a recent release?

    Hi,
    I have two questions:
    1. Has anybody tried to get the N2K data from a ethernet port ?
I have a GoFree from Simrad and it actually works as a N2K gateway.
    2. Has anybody tried to compile this for a IPad ?

  6. admin says:

I have no experience with a GoFree, but OpenSkipper is designed to read N2K from UDP and TCP/IP. I don’t know how GoFree stores N2K for ethernet, so don’t know if OpenSkipper will understand the GoFree data. I am not aware of anyone having compiled OpenSKipper for iPad, but would welcome any feedback on going down this route. Andrew
